Assisted by the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation, Denver and Jefferson County recently came to resolution of a problem that had threatened their relationship and the process of intergovernmental cooperation.

The Denver Mountain Parks Foundation hosted an
Open House - Fundraiser on September 20, 2006
The Mayor of Denver, John Hickenlooper, spoke effusively about the work of the Foundation,
and introduced Chips Barry, one of the members of our Board of Directors.

This was a big-deal fundraiser to benefit the DMPF at 500 East 8th Ave.
We raised almost $20,000. with the help of a number of generous suporters.
